Google Analytics MCP server
Connect Google Analytics (GA4) to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude Code and Codex. Rankvisit is a hosted, read-only MCP server: connect Google Analytics once, add one address, and ask about your users, sessions, traffic sources and conversions in plain words. No Google Cloud project, no service account key.
What you can ask
- "Which channels brought the most sessions last month?"
- "Which landing pages have the highest engagement rate?"
- "How many users did my blog get week by week since September?"
- "Which pages get many Google impressions in Search Console but few GA4 sessions?"
- "Which traffic sources bring conversions, and which bring only visits?"
- "Compare mobile and desktop users for my pricing page."
Your assistant calls the Google Analytics Data API through Rankvisit, picks the right metrics and dimensions, gets the real numbers, and explains them. You do not need to know GA4 API names.
Connect in three steps

Google Analytics tools
google_analytics_list_propertiesLists the GA4 properties that your connected Google account can read.
google_analytics_run_reportRuns a GA4 report for one property: up to 10 metrics (users, sessions, page views, engagement, events, conversions, revenue) and 5 dimensions (date, page, landing page, source, medium, channel, country, device, event), with a filter. Up to 1,000 rows.
google_search_console_queryClicks, impressions, CTR and position from Google Search Console, so your assistant can put search data next to your GA4 numbers.
rankvisit_statusShows your plan, free questions left and connected sources. Always free.
Search data and visits in one answer
Search Console shows how people find you. Google Analytics shows what they do on your site. Rankvisit gives your assistant both, so you can ask which pages get many impressions but few sessions, or which queries lead to conversions. More on the Google Search Console MCP and the Bing Webmaster Tools MCP.
Hosted, not self-hosted
Open-source GA4 MCP servers need a Google Cloud project, the enabled Analytics APIs, a service account key in a config file and a machine that runs the server. Web assistants like Claude.ai and ChatGPT can only use remote servers. Rankvisit runs for you, with read-only access and no key to copy.
Questions, answered.
Is this an official Google product?+−
No. Rankvisit is an independent service. It uses the official Google Analytics Data API and Admin API with read-only access that you grant when you connect Google Analytics. Google verified the app for this access.
Is the Google Analytics MCP read-only?+−
Yes. Rankvisit only asks for the read-only scope analytics.readonly. It cannot change properties, goals, audiences, users or settings.
Do I need a Google Cloud project or a service account?+−
No. Most GA4 MCP servers need your own Google Cloud project, the enabled APIs and a service account key. With Rankvisit you click Connect, choose your Google account and allow access. Nothing to install or configure.
Can I use a different Google account for Analytics?+−
Yes. Google Analytics has its own connection. You can sign in to Rankvisit with one Google account and connect Analytics from another one.
Which properties can I see?+−
All GA4 properties that the connected Google account can read. Universal Analytics properties are not supported, because Google shut them down.
Why are some rows missing in a report?+−
Google Analytics can hide rows with very few users to protect privacy (thresholds). Rankvisit tells your assistant when this happened, so the answer says so too.
Does Rankvisit store my Analytics data?+−
No. Rankvisit reads the data when your assistant asks and passes it on. It keeps no copy of your Analytics data and never uses it for advertising or AI training.
What does it cost?+−
Google Analytics is included in every plan. Every account starts with 10 free questions, no credit card. After that, Rankvisit costs €9 per month or €90 per year.
